Kelsey H. Killion

Kelsey is an associate attorney with Kasting, Kauffman & Mersen. Kelsey’s practice areas include general civil and commercial litigation, appellate law, white collar and complex litigation, and federal criminal defense.

Prior to joining Kasting, Kauffman & Mersen, Kelsey’s practice focused on general civil litigation, commercial litigation, white collar and regulatory investigation litigation, securities and financial markets litigation, and appellate law.

Kelsey has tried numerous cases in federal courts and has argued before Illinois Appellate Courts and the United States Court of Appeals.

Background

Prior to her legal career, Kelsey worked in contracts and procurement for a Shanghai-based manufacturing company. She also interned for an international strategic advisory firm located in Beijing, China.

Kelsey moved to Montana to be closer to family, all of whom live in Bozeman. Kelsey now lives in Bozeman with her husband and their two beagles, Dolly and Bridie.

Kelsey is a member of the Gallatin County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association.

She is licensed in the state of Montana, Illinois, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois general bar and trial bar, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Kelsey is also a Criminal Justice Act Panel member for the United States District Court for Montana.
